Sustainability At Hog & Apple
As a testament to our commitment to both food quality and the environment, we carefully select local suppliers and implement measures that allow The Hog and Apple Food Co to operate as sustainably and responsibly as possible. From sourcing seasonal ingredients to minimizing waste, our approach ensures that every event benefits from our ethos of sustainable wedding catering, letting couples enjoy exceptional food while making environmentally conscious choices.
Rock garden ceramics
Run by local couple Zak and Lydia, Rock Garden Ceramics was started with the simple idea of bringing back handmade items and celebrating the beauty and authenticity of locally crafted goods. In early 2023, an exciting investment from Hog and Apple helped the business grow. Now, Lydia creates custom pieces not only for Hog and Apple but also for several well-known Michelin-starred restaurants.
Scawton Saw Mill
Located just outside the charming village of Scawton in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, a small team of skilled craftsmen handcraft our beautiful oak platters and canape boards, adding a personal touch to every piece and making our service truly unique.
